A Texas Love Story Meets the Cliffs of Moher

Last October, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dianna, a Texas bride with her heart set on an intimate elopement at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. It was one of those projects that reminded me why I love what I do – bringing a bride’s vision to life and creating lasting memories through flowers.

Dianna discovered me on Instagram, where she came across my dried floral arrangements. She reached out via email, and had a clear vision for her wedding flowers: rich, warm fall tones to complement the dramatic Irish landscape. Think deep reds, lush greens, and rustic rust hues – a palette as timeless as it was vibrant.

A Custom Creation with a Personal Touch

After exchanging a few emails, we decided on a bridal bouquet and a matching boutonnière for her groom. The bouquet was designed to capture the essence of autumn, with textured layers of dried flowers and foliage that would stay beautiful from the moment they left my studio to long after her big day.

Dianna wanted something that could withstand the journey from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher and beyond. I carefully selected flowers that not only matched her color palette but were durable enough to hold their shape through travel and weather. The boutonnière, a perfect complement to her bouquet, was tied with natural silk ribbon for an understated yet elegant touch.

A Keepsake to Treasure

The magic of dried flowers is their longevity, and Dianna’s bouquet was no exception. Dianna left a lovely google review, saying that the flowers kept their shape beautifully for the week leading up to the ceremony and even survived the trip back to Texas, where she plans to keep them as a cherished memento of her special day. Her kind review still makes me smile:

“I live in Texas and found this company on Instagram. Beautiful flowers! She emailed me right away. Put together a beautiful arrangement and hand-delivered it to the hotel I would be staying at in Dublin for my Cliffs of Moher elopement. They kept their shape for a week till the big day and then were squished down in luggage to bring back as a keepsake. Beautiful and worth the money. Highly recommend.”

The Beauty of Collaboration

Working with Dianna was such a joy. She was organized, communicative, and trusted me to bring her vision to life. The Cliffs of Moher provided an awe-inspiring backdrop, and I’m honoured that my flowers played a small role in such a meaningful day.

For me, it’s more than just creating arrangements; it’s about being part of a story. Dianna’s wedding was a wonderful reminder of how flowers can connect people across miles and make moments even more magical.

If you’re planning a destination wedding or simply looking for something unique and lasting for your big day, let’s chat. Whether it’s in Texas, Ireland, or somewhere in between, I’d love to help bring your vision to life.
