In June 2024, I had the pleasure of designing a truly stunning bouquet for Linda, a bride from Wicklow who tied the knot in the romantic setting of a villa in Italy.
Linda’s vision was clear from the start: she wanted a bouquet that would be a bold statement piece, perfectly complementing her simple yet elegant dress. Together, we created something extraordinary that not only stood out on her special day but would also become a lasting keepsake for years to come.

From our very first conversation, Linda knew what she wanted, and had confidence in her vision. We worked closely to select flowers that reflected her vision and matched the aesthetic of her Italian wedding. A mix of soft neutrals, natural textures, and lush preserved greenery came together to create the perfect balance of understated glamour and eye-catching beauty

One of the wonderful things about dried and preserved flowers is their longevity. Unlike fresh bouquets, Linda’s arrangement won’t fade away after her wedding day. Instead, it can now take pride of place in her home as a cherished feature, reminding her of the magical memories of her Italian wedding. It’s a perfect example of how flowers can become more than just part of the decor – they can be a meaningful keepsake.

Linda’s simple dress and stunning bouquet were the perfect combination, proving that sometimes less really is more. Her bold choice for an extra-large bouquet elevated her entire bridal look, making her wedding day even more memorable. For me, seeing her vision come to life and knowing that her bouquet will continue to bring her joy long after her wedding is exactly why I love what I do.
