Vibrant Dried Flower Centrepieces for FuelHQ’s Clients Event

20 Bespoke Arrangements in Pink, Purple, Orange & Yellow

I absolutely loved working with FuelHQ recently to create twenty bold, joyful floral arrangements for one of their clients’ awards ceremonies. This brief was a dream - vibrant colours, impactful shapes, and pieces that would instantly elevate each table setting.

Using my signature dried and preserved florals, I designed twenty centerpieces featuring a mix of pinks, purples, oranges, and yellow tones, all arranged in beautiful matte gold bowls. These dried flower centrepieces brought amazing colour and texture to each table and helped the colours pop even more under the event lighting.

Creating Colourful Dried Flower Centrepieces for the Event

The colour direction was clear from the start: bold, energetic and full of personality. I combined a curated selection of preserved stems, including:

• Pink hydrangea, gypsophila and Amaranthus for softness and movement

• Purple palms and foliage for height and drama

• Orange miscanthus and preserved oats to bring richness and warmth

• Yellow achillea and hydrangeas to add brightness and a playful touch

These tones layered together beautifully to create arrangements that felt both modern and celebratory - perfect for an awards night.

Each arrangement was designed to stand alone as a statement piece while still working cohesively as a full set of twenty. The gold bowls created a luxe base, and the varying textures of the florals meant every table had movement, shape and depth.

Because all the florals were dried and preserved, the pieces held their structure perfectly throughout setup, photography, and the evening itself - and can continue to be enjoyed long after the event.

Event Styling That Completes the Space

Once placed on the tables, the arrangements came to life against the purple table runners and gold accents within the room. The colours bounced beautifully off the lighting, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and adding a real sense of celebration to the space.

Seeing the flowers styled alongside the glassware, menus, and table signage made everything feel tied together. The pops of colour brought so much energy and created exactly the impact FuelHQ were hoping for.

A Joy to Create

This project was such a pleasure from start to finish. I love working on designs where I can play with colour and texture at scale, and these twenty arrangements were a perfect example of how dried and preserved flowers can transform an event.
