Whimsical Dried Flower Crowns for Bex & James’ Summer Wedding

Updated: Aug 21

On August 3rd, I had the absolute joy of making two little flower crowns for the wedding of one of my best friends, Bex, as she married James — just ahead of their 20-year anniversary this September.

They tied the knot at Hens Teeth in Dublin, which was such a cool and relaxed venue. The sun was shining, the vibe was effortless, and it was one of those days you just felt lucky to be part of — both as a guest and, in a small way, as a florist.

Bex asked me to create flower crowns for her two nieces, and I adored the colours she chose — soft purples, pinks, and whites, all dried and preserved. They looked so adorable on the girls and held up perfectly through the day. Sometimes it’s the little touches like this that make a day feel extra personal.

Being able to create something for someone you love, and then see it worn with such joy — that’s really what I love most about what I do.

These two absolutely rocked the flower crowns I made for Bex & James’ wedding at Hens Teeth. Cutest little guests alongside the most beautiful Bride!
